Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for all clients. Maximise room sales by managing group bookings in line with hotel business plans to achieve occupancy, rate, and revenue targets. Handle all aspects of group reservations, including correspondence checks, booking management in Delphi and Opera, and adherence to company credit policies. Work closely with the Events Team to manage rooming lists and payments for event-related group bookings. Monitor Group Washdown through effective recording and reporting to the Commercial Manager. Convert enquiries into confirmed business through excellent sales techniques and client relationship management. Stay informed about local events and conferences to capitalise on business opportunities. Conduct competitor analysis and visit rival hotels to gather insights on market positioning. Assist in revenue management, including pricing strategies, overbooking levels, and demand forecasting. Collaborate with the Sales and Conference & Events teams to drive new business and enhance revenue opportunities. Ensure accurate system operations in Opera and Delphi to maintain robust business records. Assist in training and developing team members to enhance performance and customer service standards. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in reservations, events management, or revenue management within the hospitality industry. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to convert enquiries into sales. Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and analytical skills. Knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, and competitor analysis. Proficiency in Opera, Delphi, and other reservation systems. A commercially aware mindset with an understanding of total revenue and business forecasting.
