This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our financial operations, where you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts receivable process. With your expertise in AR collections, maintaining customer accounts, and ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts, you will play a key role in optimizing our financial health and sustainability. Responsibilities: As a Accounts Receivable Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Overseeing and managing the entire accounts receivable process, from invoicing to collections. 2. Maintaining customer accounts and ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and updated. 3. Conducting AR collections, including contacting customers regarding overdue payments, negotiating payment plans, and resolving any disputes or discrepancies. 4. Ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts, and promptly addressing any issues that may delay or prevent payment. 5. Maintaining accounts receivable balances and reconciliation, and regularly reporting on the status of accounts to management. 6. Collaborating with the sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination regarding customer accounts. 7. Implementing strategies to improve the accounts receivable process and reduce the amount of overdue accounts. 8. Complying with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Consulting Accounts Receivable Specialist role will have: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, preferably in the Accounting Finance industry. 3. Proven experience with AR collections, maintaining customer accounts, maintaining accounts receivable balances and reconciliation, and ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts. 4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. 5. Exceptional numerical accuracy and attention to detail. 6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively resolve disputes and handle difficult situations. 7. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. 8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data. 9. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10.
