Base Salary Up to $200k (DOE) Bonuses 401(k) with Generous Match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, PTO & Paid Holidays Hybrid Remote Job Details Provide legal counsel on complex real estate transactions across commercial, office, retail, industrial, residential, recreational, and mixed-use developments Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases (including financeable ground leases), development agreements, easements, and financing instruments Advise clients—ranging from private individuals and businesses to governmental entities—on land acquisition strategy, site development, and entitlement processes Navigate municipal incorporation and annexation matters, and provide legal guidance on zoning, subdivision, and land use issues Assist clients with securing and structuring tax incentive programs and regulatory approvals Support real estate financing transactions, including construction loans, permanent financing, and public-private partnerships Coordinate with internal legal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful completion of real estate projects Stay abreast of Utah real estate laws, land use regulations, and trends impacting the real estate development lifecycle (Preferred) Assist with tax structuring for real estate transactions and formation of ownership entities such as LLCs, REITs, or joint ventures Looking For: Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Active Bar License in Utah 5 years of real estate law experience, with demonstrated expertise in commercial, office, retail, industrial, residential, recreational, and mixed-use developments Proven ability to advise individuals, businesses, and governmental entities on a broad range of real estate matters, including land acquisition, leasing (including ground leases), development, financing, and construction Strong knowledge of municipal incorporation, annexation, subdivision regulations, zoning laws, and land use planning Experience with tax incentive programs and navigating public agency approval processes Excellent drafting and negotiation skills across contracts, lease agreements, and financing documents Preferred but not required: Familiarity with tax structuring of real estate transactions and the formation of ownership entities (e.g., LLCs, REITs, partnerships) Ability to manage complex transactions and collaborate effectively with clients, government officials, and multidisciplinary teams Interested in hearing more?
