Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor 80k Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The role involves maintaining machinery and equipment in a chemical manufacturing environment. The position will initially require training on the 1st shift for 3-6 months before transitioning to the 2nd or 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and be open to various maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance in a chemical manufacturing environment. Work on machinery and equipment such as piping, exhaust fans, vacuum conveyor systems, packaging machinery, mixing tanks, stretch wrappers, hot oil heating systems, and glycol chillers. Disconnect motors, check polarity, pull fuses, and reset breakers. Conduct facility maintenance as needed and assist with various tasks. Use blueprints to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Essential Skills Mechanical troubleshooting (Hydraulics, Pneumatics) Electrical troubleshooting (Understanding the basics of 120V) Blueprint reading Experience with valves and compressors 2 years of experience repairing equipment mechanically or electrically Additional Skills & Qualifications MIG and TIG welding PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley) Experience in chemical maintenance Fabrication skills Experience with 480V systems Hydraulics/pneumatics expertise Welding skills Why Work Here? The role is physically demanding, requiring bending, lifting, and working in tight spaces and warm environments. Tools will be provided, and the position involves working closely with a team, particularly during the initial training period. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stow, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.00/hr.
