Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support State License 1 Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) Job Details Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Diagnoses include sepsis, hypertensive emergency, chest pain, pneumonia, COVID, diabetes, pleural effusion, osteomyelitis, anemia, small bowel obstruction, acute kidney injury, end-stage renal disease, peritonitis, GI bleed, syncope, atrial fibrillation, cholecystitis, appendicitis, cancer, hip fractures, spinal stenosis, spinal decompression, hysterectomy, TURP, cystoscopy; peritoneal dialysis with manual exchanges done by the nurses, Patients requiring certain procedures will be transferred to Midtown campus for procedure (paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, permcath placement, percutaneous drain placement, etc) Ratio / Census: 1:6; 28 Beds with average daily census of 24 Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color: Royal Blue RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend Floating: Yes within scope and across facility and campuses Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Job Requirements Certifications Required: BLS State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date Annual Nursys (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date Background Check required within 30 days of start Required for RNs and LVNs by Aya only. Not required by Client. Not required for subcontractors. Schedule Information Weekends: Every other weekend Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays.
