Job Overview: The candidate for this position will originate construction and land development loans, develop relationships with builders, developers and realtors. The candidate for this position will be responsible for: Responsible developing and managing new and existing residential construction relationships for single family home builders in the Wichita market. Responsible for individual goals set by the SVP Construction Department Manager including; new loan production, outstanding balance, fee income and deposit balances Supervise and collaborate closely with Construction Loan Administrative Assistants to ensure timely and accurate loan closings. Conduct assessments of all new loan requests. Review qualifying factors, comprehensively analyze documentation required for approval according to Fidelity Bank's guidelines. Effectively oversee builder guidance line to maintain optimal exposure levels and minimize risk to the bank. Supervise the portfolio to mitigate run-off while insuring a balanced inventory of loans Present loan requests to the Loan Committee and respond to inquiries and or questions. Actively engage as the banks representative in homebuilder and construction-related events, such as the HBA Requirements for the position include: A bachelor’s degree in a business related field (may be waived in lieu of experience). Minimum of two year’s experience in Commercial or Residential Construction Real Estate lending. Experience in risk based lending, the ability to analyze financial statements in detail (both corporate and individual) and a thorough understanding of construction rules and regulations. Basic computer skills Excellent public relation skills. Overtime may be required based on business needs. EEO/Veterans/Disabled
