SALES MANAGER - PIETERMARITZBURG

RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced SALES MANAGER for a well-established concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Relevant qualification/s. Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). 5yrs experience in a similar position; 3yrs should be in a retail environment and product sales; preferably in the tyre / automotive industry. Develop and implement the Sales strategy to achieve revenue and sales targets. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing trends. Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities and initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the company. Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers. Administration related functions i.e., credit notes, cash up, invoicing, quotations, receiving cash etc. Products and services. Managing staff including performance management. Suppliers management. Basic legislative knowledge of OHS, LRA, BCEA. Contract knowledge i.e., implications of conditions.
