Floor Layer - Temp2Permanent Role - Yeovil & Surrounding Areas Pay: £17.60 per hour PAYE (includes holiday pay) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours per week, 30-min unpaid lunch) Location: Yeovil & surrounding areas Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Benefits: Company van fuel card uniform pension holiday pay The Role: We're looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join a friendly and skilled team working across Yeovil and the surrounding areas. You'll be responsible for preparing and fitting vinyl flooring in wet rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, ensuring high-quality results in residential properties. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Prepare and fit flooring (vinyl sheet, safety flooring, and vinyl tiles) ✔ Measure and prep floors using latex or plywood ✔ Carry out minor repairs to floor coverings like carpets, laminate, and vinyl ✔ Work efficiently to complete jobs on time and to a high standard ✔ Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive working environment What We're Looking For: ✅ Experience in floor laying (vinyl, tiling, carpets, or safety flooring) ✅ NVQ Level 2/3 in Floor Laying or time-served experience ✅ Full UK driving licence (essential) ✅ A hardworking, reliable individual who takes pride in their work Why Join Us?
