CNC Operator

Job Description Job Description A world leader in their industry is seeking a CNC Operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Norton, MA. Responsibilities of CNC Operator: -Set-up and operate CNC machine -interpret drawings, manuals, and other job specifications -Determine correct dimensions and tolerances for finished pieces, sequence of operations and set-up requirements for CNC machines -Perform inspections to detect any malfunctions or out of tolerance machining -Make adjustments to machine as needed to ensure tolerances and dimensions are met -Perform routine and preventative maintenance -Maintain a clean and safe work environment -Complete other related tasks as assigned Requirement of CNC Operator -Minimum 5 years’ experience on CNC Vertical Milling Machines -Possess an understanding of CNC programming and able to make some edits -Basic math skills -Able to read blueprint, geometric tolerances, and other instructions -Precision measuring instrument knowledgeable -Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, drills, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines -Strong written and oral communication skills -Adaptable to a changing work environment Hours: 10:45pm-6:30am Sunday-Thursday Pay Rate: $23.00-$26.00/hr 3rd shift differential Company Description The Alpha Group is one of Massachusetts largest privately owned staffing firms.
