SAP Project Manager/Delivery Head

SAP Project Manager/Delivery Head Experience : 12 to 15 Years Work-Mode : Hybrid Location : Hinjewadi phase-1 : - Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, encompassing all stages from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate, ASAP), tools, and best practices. - Define clear project scope, objectives, and measurable deliverables in close collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. - Effectively allocate resources (both internal and external), manage project budgets meticulously, and ensure cost-effective delivery while maximizing value. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including defining clear milestones, identifying critical path dependencies, and proactively managing timelines. - Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact project timelines, budget, or deliverables, and develop effective mitigation strategies. - Coordinate seamlessly with diverse cross-functional teams, including business analysts, SAP developers, testing teams, and infrastructure specialists, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. - Provide strong leadership and clear guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages innovation and accountability. - Communicate project status, progress against milestones, key risks, and overall performance transparently and effectively to stakeholders and senior management through regular reports and presentations. - Ensure strict adherence to project management best practices, established methodologies (including Agile and Waterfall where appropriate), and defined quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project delivery organization, actively seeking opportunities to optimize processes, enhance methodologies, and improve overall efficiency. - Leverage a proven track record of successfully delivering complex and large-scale SAP projects on time, within the allocated budget, and to the required quality standards. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, including greenfield, brownfield, and hybrid scenarios, is a significant plus. - Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with evolving requirements and priorities. - Possess a strong understanding of CMMI implementation methodologies, tools, and best practices, and the ability to apply them to project Skills : - In-depth knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate, ASAP). - Familiarity with SAP project management tools and techniques. - Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and implementation approaches (preferred). - Knowledge of various SAP modules and their integration points. - Ability to understand technical aspects of SAP implementations and integrations. - Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SAP Solution Manager). - Understanding of CMMI frameworks and their application in project Skills : - Excellent understanding of the project management lifecycle. - Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, and resource management. - Expertise in risk management, issue tracking, and change management. - Ability to manage project budgets and financial reporting. - Experience with quality assurance and testing processes in SAP projects. - Proficiency in developing and maintaining project Skills : - Exceptional leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. - Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities. - Proven ability to influence and negotiate effectively. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to make sound decisions under pressure. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Results-oriented with a focus on achieving project goals. - Ability to foster a collaborative and positive team : - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. - 12 to 15 years of overall IT experience, with a significant portion focused on managing SAP implementation projects. - Proven experience leading and delivering large-scale SAP projects. - Strong understanding of SAP technologies and business processes. - Experience working in a hybrid work environment. - Relevant certifications such as PMP, SAP Project Management, or Agile certifications are highly desirable. - Experience with CMMI implementation is a plus.
