If you are ready to advance your legal career in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment, this is the opportunity for you Job Description: Responsible for preparing, reviewing and processing legal documents based on the specific area of practice referral using accurate information pulled from our internal case management system as well as client websites with a high level of attention to detail. Correctly and accurately enter response deadlines and milestone completion details to client sites and internal case management system. Manage and prioritize workflow in a timely manner to satisfy client SLA’s. Review Chapter 13 plans and provide objection recommendation. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: Client Interactions (40%) Monitoring and Updating Client websites with milestone completion and document uploads Effectively and professionally communicates with clients via email, phone calls and client site intercoms Respond to client status reports and inquiries timely Request loan documents and follow up on required executables Escalate title, AOM and executable needs to meet FLAD deadlines Compliance (40%) Conduct SCRA and PACER searches Prepares, reviews and processes legal documents (ex. Complaints, Judgments, Publications, Proof of Claim, Motion for Relief) Monitor work queues to complete and reproject work items within time requirements Update internal case management system with legal deadlines and milestone completion Assures documents are compliant for filing and recording in multiple jurisdictions Maintains all relevant documentation to our internal case management system Assist with scorecard review and rebuttals Administrative (20%) Pull and review workload and work queues reports Effectively participates with team members to meet performance goals Train and mentor new hires Prioritize workflow based on client deadlines Accurately performs Data Entry Expected to learn and understand client websites, screen prints and loan documents Understands client and jurisdictional specifics Regularly communicates with Orlans PC Attorneys Performs other related duties as assigned File as necessary Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred Experienced in mortgage default, helpful High degree of customer service Advanced computer skills and ability to quickly grasp new technologies Error-free data entry skills and detail oriented Ability to prioritize and multi-task frequently and/or shift focus quickly Appropriate email and telephone etiquette Ability to work efficiently as an individual in a team environment under the pressure of deadlines Quick learner with ability to take direction and know when to ask questions for better understanding Critical thinking skills with ability to solve problems Ability to read and understand PACER Understands client specifics and recognizes jurisdictional nuances Ability to adapt easily Technology Required: Position requires advanced knowledge of Windows and MS Windows and Office (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) experience required; knowledge of Adobe/Nuance Power PDF Proficiency and potential for advancement will be measured by: Quality/error rate Productivity Ability to learn new areas of practice Being a team player Effectively and efficiently communicate Subject matter expertise Why Join Us?
