The Opportunity: The Director, Marketing Transformation architects and orchestrates breakthrough transformation initiatives that fundamentally reimagine the marketing organization's capabilities, collaborative ecosystems, and future trajectory. This visionary leader secures executive alignment on forward-thinking organizational design innovations, next-generation capability development, and change management approaches. The Director manages a small but impactful team and builds influential relationships across marketing leadership and key strategic partners in Operational Excellence and HR to drive enterprise-wide evolution. Responsibilities: Marketing Innovation Ecosystem Development (20%) Cultivate an ecosystem where bold experimentation thrives, calculated risks are celebrated, and cross-functional innovation becomes the cultural foundation Evolve and amplify marketing's aspirational values and guiding principles that resonate with Sephora's purpose and vision Architect the future-state vision for marketing talent excellence, in line with newly defined values and informing L&D framework Strategic Transformation Architecture (30%) Design and champion comprehensive transformation blueprints that align with Sephora's marketing goals and elevate our capabilities beyond industry standards Identify breakthrough opportunities for organizational evolution through deep stakeholder insights and predictive analytics Synthesize diverse perspectives into cohesive narratives that propel action and commitment Establish next-generation practices that balance operational excellence with adaptive agility in an ever-evolving marketplace Transformation Advocacy & Acceleration (30%) Catalyze organization-wide adoption by pioneering innovative enablement approaches, toolsets, and cross-functional support systems Forge strategic alliances with Operational Excellence and L&D partners to leverage enterprise capabilities while developing marketing-specific transformation accelerators Lead the organizational narrative around transformation, creating compelling stories that inspire action Capability Evolution & Future-Readiness (20%) Design a progressive L&D strategy that continuously elevates capabilities, fosters empowerment, and builds a feedback-rich culture Collaborate with HR to integrate cutting-edge development methodologies and resources Translate complex transformation concepts into clear, actionable frameworks that drive business impact Qualifications: Proven ability to envision and manifest transformative organizational futures Exceptional talent for influencing and aligning cross-functional leadership teams Mastery of change psychology and transformation methodologies Compelling communication style that inspires action and commitment Executive presence that commands respect and fosters trust Strategic prioritization skills that maximize organizational impact Advanced coaching capabilities that unlock team and organizational potential Visionary problem identification coupled with pragmatic solution design Resilient leadership that thrives in high-change environments Inspirational team mobilization and engagement abilities Excellence in strategic initiative orchestration and delegation Champion for diversity of thought and perspective Talent for identifying operational reinvention opportunities Catalyst for creative disruption and innovation Embodiment of Sephora's aspirational values Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in organizational transformation, culture development, and change management. 2 to 4 years of experience leading a direct team and negotiating and influencing a broad group of senior stakeholders. 2 to 4 years of experience working with consultancies or external partners, ideally within a strategy consulting organization. Apply now to be part of our dynamic team LI-SR1 The annual base salary range for this position is $175,225.00 - $195,225.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
