Job Description Job Description Job Title: Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled machinist responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes. You will work with various materials including titanium, bronze, copper, and steel alloys, ensuring high-quality production through precise measurements and adjustments. Responsibilities Set up and operate up to three CNC Mills/Lathes at a time. Work with specific Seiki machines and Smart CNC Machines using Funuc and Mitsubishi controls. Perform quality checks on parts using calipers and micrometers. Ensure machines hold tolerances of /- .5. Deburr parts as needed. Perform offsets and tool changes. Make adjustments to G&M codes as necessary. Enter production numbers into the computer system. Essential Skills 2 years experience in setting up and operating CNC Mills. Proficiency in performing tool changes and offsets. 2 years experience in conducting quality checks with micrometers and calipers. Ability to enter data accurately and navigate computer systems. 2 years experience interpreting blueprints to set machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year experience with GD&T is a plus. 1 year experience in CAD programming is a plus. 1 year experience with twin spindles is a plus. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
