Limited X-Ray Technician

Job Description Job Description SmartClinic Urgent Care is looking for a reliable, friendly X-ray Tech with Medical Assistant Certificate to join our team The X-ray Technician MA is responsible for providing patient care in a back-office setting including medical assistant duties as well as performing X-rays Torso, Chest and Extremities. These duties include but are not limited to: assisting the provider with exams, procedures and other procedures related to patient care under supervision. Responsibilities: Performs radiographic procedures as ordered by a physician Position patient correctly for x-ray procedures Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort Develop, process, and select optimum x-ray images Review and evaluate x-rays to determine the quality and if they need to be redone Answer patient questions as they relate to the procedure Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures Determines proper technique through the selection of voltage, current and exposure time. Assisting with back-office duties Must have X-ray certificate, assist with front and back office is required. Applicant must have exceptional customer service skills, and ability to multi-task with a positive attitude.
