Financial Accountant

We’re looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a growing technology company based in the Cambridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to expand their skill set, work closely a supportive mentor in the Finance Manager, and have the opportunity to contribute to key financial decisions. As part of the team, you’ll be involved in a variety of financial tasks, including: Managing stock and fixed assets – keeping track of inventory, calculating provisions, and maintaining the fixed asset register. Supporting R&D accounting – managing capitalised projects, ensuring compliance, and tracking project spending. Revenue & financial reporting – ensuring revenue and costs are accurately recorded and analysed. Statutory accounts & audits – helping to prepare financial statements and working with auditors. Tax compliance – assisting with tax returns, tax planning, and regulatory compliance.We are looking for someone who is qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and has proven experience in a technical accounting role.
