Software Engineer - SQL Support

We are looking for a Software Engineer SQL Support to join our Operations Team, providing frontline support to users and clients of our HRMS web application. This role is focused on SQL Server-based issue resolution and technical operations, not on software development. The candidate will work closely with both clients and the internal Software Development team to ensure timely issue resolution. Roles and Responsibilities : - Act as frontline technical support for the Operations and Customer Service teams - Investigate and resolve SQL Server-related issues (bug fixing) - Route complex technical issues to the Software Development team with detailed case documentation - Collaborate closely with developers and testers as part of issue resolution - Directly interact with US-based clients to understand and resolve their queries - Ensure all technical issues are resolved within agreed timelines - Maintain accurate documentation of resolutions and actions taken Skills and Qualifications Required : - 25 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server (Only SQL Server Not MySQL/PL SQL/PostgreSQL) - Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Functions - Willingness to work in US shift permanently - Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with international clients - Basic understanding of .NET web applications - Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual - Candidates with short notice periods (1 month or less) preferred - Preference will be given to candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Noida/Greater Noida Good to Have : - Experience in optimizing SQL queries and identifying performance issues - Familiarity with basic DevOps or cloud tools - Prior experience working in product support or SaaS-based environments (ref:hirist.tech)
