D-TechWorks - Project Manager - ETL Migration

Job Responsibilities : We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to oversee and guide large service engagements, involving teams of 35-50 individuals. This role requires a balance of technical know-how, exceptional leadership abilities, and proven project management skills. Key Responsibilities Oversight : - Lead and manage complex technical projects from initiation to completion - Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely delivery and quality. - Coordinate cross-project activities. Team Leadership : - Lead diverse project teams, including technical developers, business analysts, quality assurance, and other essential stakeholders. - Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, ensuring clarity in roles and Management : - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure regular communication of project updates and milestones. - Manage stakeholder expectations, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts or issues Guidance: - Offer technical guidance, ensuring that project deliverables meet the required standards and quality. - Collaborate with architects and technical leads to ensure feasible project plans. - Guide teams on best practices related to cloud-based data Management: - Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans. - Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and Management: - Ensure optimal allocation and availability of resources throughout the project and Costing: - Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring projects remain within scope and on and Skills: 1. bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, MCA 2. 12 to 15 years of experience in technical project management, specifically in services for enterprise clients 3. Should have experience of executing Fixed Price projects, project planning & tracking using tools like Microsoft Project Planner 4. Familiarity with the architecture, design, and best practices of cloud-based data warehouses either on Azure Data Services or AWS Data Service. Understanding of both Cloud platforms would be a plus. 5. Proven experience in leading large teams and handling large-scale projects. 6. Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience on either one of the following ETL tools (Ab Initio, Data Stage, Informatica and SSIS). Experience of any 2 of these tools would be preferred. 7. Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. 8. Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills. 9. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done. 10.
