SAP FICO Functional Analyst - Configuration & Integration

SAP FICO Functional Analyst Summary Reporting to the Sr. Manager IT, the SAP FICO Functional Analyst is responsible for leading, designing, and supporting all SAP Finance-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. As a key member of the global competence center, the analyst plays a vital role in delivering cost-effective, innovative financial solutions that support mission-critical business operations. This hands-on role includes configuration, integration, support, and enhancement of SAP FI/CO modules. The analyst works closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and HR departments to analyze requirements, optimize processes, manage projects, and ensure smooth end-to-end financial operations within SAP. The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise, cross-module integration knowledge, and the ability to manage internal and external resources for project success. Key Responsibilities : - Lead SAP FI/CO implementations requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live. - Configure and support core FI/CO modules AR, AP, GL, AA, PCA, CCA, COPA, and Product Costing. - Develop financial reports and analytics (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) using SAP and BI tools. - Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, and external financial systems (e.g., banks, payment vendors). - Train and support business users, develop documentation, and lead financial workshops. - Oversee regulatory compliance, system audits, and adherence to financial best practices. - Manage and deliver financial system projects on time, within budget, and in scope. Core Competencies : - Expert-level SAP FI/CO functional knowledge, including financial reporting and integration. - Strong understanding of business processes: Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash. - Hands-on experience with bank integration, EDI processing, and third-party interfaces. - Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA and ECC platforms; experience with global reporting initiatives. - Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, with strong time management. Qualifications : - 10 years of SAP FICO experience, including integration with SD, MM, and BI. - Extensive knowledge of ERP core modules and finance process flows. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience preferred. - Proven track record in solution design, change management, and business process optimization. Additional Requirements : - Willingness to work U.S. hours and travel internationally/domestically as needed. - High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong customer service orientation.
