SAP SD Functional Analyst - Integration & Support

SAP SD Functional Analyst - Summary Reporting to the Sr. Manager IT, the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional Analyst is responsible for leading and supporting the design, implementation, and day-to-day operations of SAP SD functionalities. As a key member of the global competence center, this role partners closely with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to deliver efficient, scalable solutions aligned with business processes and regulatory standards. This hands-on role involves managing end-to-end SAP SD projects, driving process improvements, enabling seamless system integration, and providing expert-level functional and technical support. The analyst ensures project delivery within budget and timeline, while also contributing to user training, documentation, and ongoing system optimization. Key Responsibilities : - Lead SAP SD implementations: blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and support. - Design and optimize SD processes: sales order processing, pricing, shipping, billing, returns, and customer master data. - Ensure integration with modules such as MM, FI, PP, a nd third-party systems. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Manage projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain service-level expectations. - Create and deliver user training, workshops, and detailed documentation. - Troubleshoot and resolve SD-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. - Support compliance with SAP standards and regulatory requirements. Core Competencies : - Deep functional knowledge of SAP SD and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes. - Strong understanding of Material Master, Pricing Conditions, Delivery & Billing. - Hands-on experience in Customer/Material Master creation, Contract Management, Revenue Recognition, and interface setups. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills. - Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams. - Strong customer service mindset and ability to manage business stakeholder expectations. Qualifications : - 10 years of experience in SAP SD, with integration to FIN, PUR, BI. - Proficiency in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. - Deep knowledge of ERP core modules and process flows. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries preferred. - Strong documentation, training, and change management Requirements : - US working hours; international/domestic travel as required. - High attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to manage priorities. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present technical concepts in a business-friendly manner.
