About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP SD Consultant with 5 to 10 years of expertise, preferably with S/4HANA experience, to join our growing global team. You will play a critical role in delivering successful SAP implementations and support projects for our clients across diverse industries. Responsibilities : - Requirements Gathering & Analysis : Elicit and document business requirements related to sales and distribution processes, translate them into functional specifications, and design solutions within the SAP SD module. - Configuration & Customization : Configure and customize the SAP SD module to meet client-specific needs, including pricing, sales order processing, delivery processing, billing, and availability check. Develop custom functionalities where necessary using ABAP. - Integration : Ensure seamless integration of SD with other modules such as MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and PP (Production Planning). - Implementation & Testing : Participate in all phases of the SAP implementation lifecycle, including blueprinting, development, testing (unit, integration, user acceptance), and go-live support. - Support & Maintenance : Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements to existing SAP SD systems. - Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, user manuals, and training materials. - Collaboration : Work closely with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support of SAP SD solutions. - Knowledge Sharing : Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP SD technologies and best practices, and share knowledge with colleagues. - Project Management (For Senior Roles) : Lead small to medium-sized SD projects, manage project timelines and budgets, and mentor junior team members. Required Skills & Experience : 1. 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD implementation and support projects. 2. Strong understanding of sales and distribution business processes and their integration within SAP. 3. Expertise in configuring and customizing SAP SD functionalities, including : - Pricing conditions and procedures - Sales order types and processing - Delivery processing and route determination - Billing types and document creation - Availability check and transfer of requirements - Credit management - Experience with integration of SD with MM, FI, and PP. Technical Skills : - ABAP : Strong ABAP debugging skills and experience in developing custom programs, user exits, and enhancements within the SD module. - IDocs : Experience with IDoc configuration and processing for integration with other systems. - BAPIs : Knowledge of BAPIs for data exchange and integration. - SAP S/4HANA : Experience with S/4HANA SD functionalities and Simplification List. - Fiori : Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps related to SD. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to travel (as needed). Preferred Qualifications : - SAP SD certifications. - Experience with SAP Cloud Platform. - Industry-specific experience (e.g, manufacturing, retail, consumer goods). - Experience working in global teams (ref:hirist.tech)
