Our client, a leading firm in Australia’s property sector, is well-regarded for its work with major real estate investment trusts (REITs), particularly within the retail and office portfolios, providing a diverse and dynamic range of matters to engage with. The team currently operates on a hybrid work model, and this role will offer the same flexibility. About the Role As a Leasing Associate looking towards becoming a SA or an established SA seeking more autonomy and reasonable billable targets, you will have the chance to manage a variety of sophisticated matters with minimal supervision. Your role will involve working on behalf of some of the leading players in the Australian real estate market, giving you exposure to high-calibre transactions and strategic legal work. Key Responsibilities Draft and negotiate agreements for lease and subleases Draft and negotiate commercial office leases, including complex and bespoke arrangements Manage capital transactions and provide property due diligence Prepare detailed due diligence reports Exposure to renewable energy transactions is advantageous, though not a requirement Who We Are We are an agency partnering with a leading commercial law firm that is recognised for its exceptional legal expertise and client service.
