Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Cloud Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems mainly on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities : - Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration. - Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP). - System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains. - Strong experience with SQL and MariaDB (NoSQL experience is a plus,too, since we also use Redis, Mongo). - Good understanding of Web Servers, Databases and their Optimization parameters. - A working understanding of codeand script (PHP,Python, Shell, NodeJS). - Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud-based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems. - Build, release and configuration management of production systems. - Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent. - Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements. - Ensuring critical system security using best-in-class cloud securitysolutions. - Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service. Requirements : - 8 years of experience as a DevOpsEngineer. - AWS : 6 yearsexperience with using a broad rangeof AWS Services (e.g., EC2, RDS,ELB, EBD, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS) to developand maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security. - DevOps : Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime Amazon AWS environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools. - Hands on experience on AWS for creating new account, setup which includes VPC, Load Balancer, Target group etc. - Strong scripting Skills : e.g., Python, bash and automation skills. - Operating Systems : Windows and Linux system administration. - Monitoring Tools : Experience with systemmonitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch). - Problem Solving : Ability to analyzeand resolve complexinfrastructure resource and application deployment issues. - Strong written and verbal communication skills across a variety of audiences. - Understanding of Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana(ELK) stack. - Good understanding of tools suchas Jenkins, Terraform, etc. - Nice to have Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). - Nice to have Certification in AWS or related cloudcomputing technologies (e.g.,Certified Cloud Practitioner, DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, etc. (ref:hirist.tech)
