Azure Data Engineer - Synapse Analytics

Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Engineering tools and services. - Develop and manage cloud-based data solutions on Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics. - Work with Databricks to build data models, ETL pipelines, and perform data transformation. - Utilize Snowflake to design, implement, and maintain data warehouses, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. - Collaborate with data architects and data scientists to integrate diverse data sources and build data solutions that support business requirements. - Implement data governance and ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity. - Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization for data workflows. - Maintain documentation for data processes, models, and solutions. - Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud data technologies, particularly Azure, Databricks, and Skills and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure cloud platform and services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics). - Hands-on experience with Databricks, including developing ETL pipelines, managing clusters, and integrating with other cloud tools. - Expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data modeling. - Strong proficiency in SQL, data transformations, and data modeling techniques. - Experience with data orchestration and workflow automation tools (e.g., Apache Airflow). - Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices. - Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards. - Experience working with large, complex datasets and optimizing data workflows for performance and cost efficiency. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
