Consultant - The Flexera FNMS Specialist - IT Asset Management

Job Summary : The Flexera FNMS Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing software licenses across the organization using Flexera's FNMS (FlexNet Manager Suite) platform. This individual will collaborate with various teams, including IT, procurement, and legal, as well as License Specialists, to ensure compliance with software license agreements, optimize software usage, and reduce costs. The FNMS Specialist will also play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and providing insights into software license management : - Monitoring all request received via My Appstore whether they are processed via MyAppStore or via ServiceNow. - Ability to address all types of calls/requests received. - Ensuring that all calls/request are picked up and address in the appropriate SLA period. - Reporting the status of all in process calls/request. - Explaining the reason for any calls that are Skills : - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field with 6 years of work experience. - Proven experience in software asset management, particularly with Flexera FNMS. - Handling request related to SAM. - In-depth knowledge of software licensing models and compliance requirements. - FinOps certification and experience relating to Cloud licenses will be highly advantageous. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ref:hirist.tech)
