Job Description : We are looking for a positive, proactive, and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to oversee all project operations from inception to execution and to ensure projects are completed on time. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for maintaining budgets, enforcing deadlines, and supervising team members of multiple projects. The incumbent will document instructions for end users and assist with testing the final product. You will communicate with stakeholders during all phases of the project, and close it efficiently. The incumbent should be able to technically lead/guide a team of 5 to 7 various skilled team members while contributing individually. Roles and Responsibilities : - Monitors and manages project baseline to ensure activities are occurring as planned scope, budget, and schedule manages variances Proactively identify risks and issues on projects leading team to develop risk management and issues management plans. - Identifies potential points of contention for missed deliverables creates and implements strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget. - Anticipates problems before they occur; defines the problem or risk; identifies possible causes; works with the team to identify solutions; selects and implements the most appropriate solution. - Develop and manage plans to address project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. - Analytical skills and problem-solving skills are needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously. - Demonstrate business analytics to manage and meet sponsor and customer needs. - Manage project control items/deliverables for customers and report status to internal management and customers. Experience : - 6 years in a corporate IT environment. - 5 years of experience in project management. - Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation, and infrastructure). - Work experience in a professional services industry preferred. - Work experience managing a software development team of 5 to 6 members. - Work experience in defining project KPIs and metrics. - Work experience in the end-to-end project from concept to delivery. Requirements : - The role will be to manage multi-technology projects. - Experience working in a multi-skilled engineering environment coordinating Change Requests and Service Requests. - Experience in managing projects with personal accountability for delivering on time and cost for large and complex projects. - Mastery of project management methodology, tools, and templates (includes program/project planning, schedule development, scope management, and cost management). - Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises. - Ability to work in highly matrixed, multi-functional IT organization. - Experience working with 3rd party vendors/internal IT teams to implement cloud technologies. - Experience across packaged and bespoke systems and infrastructure, ideally on an international basis. - Management skills to manage one or more large, complex projects simultaneously. - IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all project phases plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, and implement including agile methodology. - Mastery of knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools, and techniques e. AGILE, Scrum, etc. - Working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA. - Experience in delivering multiple enterprise-scale technology projects in Java/J2ee, Microservices, Containerization, and DevOps. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (including negotiation). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing. - Leader in the use of IT methodologies, processes, and standards for project management. - Working experience in performance management and goal setting of team members and self.
