Preferred specialization in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics. Experience : - 59 years in Data Warehousing, BI, or Data Engineering roles. - At least 2 years of experience in leading or managing end-to-end data warehouse projects. Location : Goregaon, Mumbai (5 days' from Office) About Us : BOBCARD Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Baroda and a Non-Deposit Accepting NonBanking Finance Company (NBFC). BOBCARD was established in the year 1994 to cater to the need of rapidly growing credit card industry in a focused manner. BOBCARD is one of the pioneers in the Indian card market and was the first non-banking company in India to issue credit cards. The Companys core business is credit card issuance. It also provides support to Bank of Baroda by carrying out its merchant acquiring operations. Job Specific Skills : - Strong hands-on experience in data warehousing concepts, ETL tools, data modeling, and relational/dimensional databases. - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Python/Shell scripting, and any one of the ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage). - Familiarity with Cloud Data Warehousing platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse is a plus. - Working knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) and data governance practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Role & Responsibilities : - Data Warehouse Management : Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs. - ETL Development : Build efficient ETL pipelines using tools like Informatica, Talend, or custom scripts in Python/SQL for data integration from multiple sources. - Data Modeling : Implement and optimize dimensional data models (Star, Snowflake) to ensure high performance analytical querying. - Collaboration : Work closely with BI developers, analysts, and business users to translate business requirements into technical data warehouse solutions. - Data Quality : Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data through validation processes, audits, and reconciliations. - Performance Tuning : Monitor and optimize database performance, and troubleshoot bottlenecks in data loading or querying. - Documentation & Standards : Maintain up-to-date documentation for architecture, design, and ETL processes, and ensure compliance with data governance policies. - Reporting Support : Enable and support business reporting platforms like Power BI, Tableau, etc., with robust backend data sources. - Security & Access Controls : Implement role-based access and secure data storage practices.
