Role Overview : The SAP B1 Consultant will be responsible for providing expert consultation and implementation services for SAP Business One to our clients. This role involves understanding client business requirements, designing and configuring SAP Business One solutions, providing user training, and offering ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional and technical understanding of SAP Business One, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team and client-facing : Implementation & Configuration : - Participate in the full lifecycle implementation of SAP Business One, including project planning, requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and deployment. - Configure SAP Business One modules based on client business requirements, including but not limited to Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, and CRM. - Develop and customize reports, queries, and dashboards within SAP Business One. - Assist with data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP Business One. Requirements Gathering & Analysis : - Conduct workshops and meetings with clients to understand their business processes, identify gaps, and document detailed functional and technical requirements. - Translate business requirements into effective SAP Business One solutions. Solution Design & Development : - Design and document SAP Business One solutions that meet client needs and align with best practices. - Collaborate with technical teams for the development of custom solutions, integrations, and enhancements using SAP Business One SDK, DI API, and other relevant tools. Testing & Quality Assurance : - Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of SAP Business One configurations and customizations. - Identify and resolve issues and bugs during testing phases. User Training & Support : - Develop and deliver end-user training programs on SAP Business One functionalities. - Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing their queries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner. - Create and maintain user documentation and training materials. Best Practices & Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated with the latest features, functionalities, and best practices in SAP Business One. - Contribute to the development of internal knowledge base and methodologies. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaboration & Communication : - Work closely with project managers, other consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Documentation : - Prepare and maintain project-related documentation, including business blueprints, functional specifications, technical specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals. Qualifications & Experience : Education : Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration (with a focus on IT), or a related field. Experience : - Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP B1 Consultant or in a similar role involving SAP Business One implementation and support. - Proven experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP Business One implementations is highly preferred. - Experience working with SAP Business One is a plus. SAP B1 Knowledge : - Strong functional knowledge of various SAP Business One modules (e.g., Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Finance, Production, CRM, Service). - Understanding of core business processes and how they integrate within SAP Business One. Technical Skills : - Familiarity with SAP Business One configuration and administration. - Experience with SAP Business One SDK and DI API for customizations and integrations is highly desirable. - Basic understanding of database concepts (SQL Server or SAP HANA). - Experience with reporting tools within SAP Business One (e.g., Crystal Reports, SAP Business One Analytics powered by SAP HANA) is a plus. - Knowledge of web technologies and integration methods is an advantage. Language Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Hindi is a plus.
