Brazil Operations External Fulfillment (EF Ops) is looking for an Operations Leader responsible for developing and running key mechanisms to ensure the best customer and seller experience. EF Ops team is responsible for the marketplace logistics and works with third party sellers. Amazon strives to be Earth's most customer-centric company, where people can find and discover virtually anything they want to buy online. Over 2 million Sellers in 10 countries list their products for sale on Amazon. Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices. External Fulfillment (EF) includes a variety of programs in which Amazon works hand in hand with Sellers and Vendors to ship products directly from their warehouse reducing cost and carbon footprint. The EF Operations Manager will lead cross-functional mechanisms working with teams in Brazil and abroad, support programs target definition, drive team members to meet goals, and make trade-offs (time vs. quality vs. resources). You will inspect the results of the mechanisms and define improvements to amplify impact that will enhance the overall customer experience amidst a rapid growth. Key job responsibilities Key responsibilities include managing multiple mechanisms simultaneously, conducting root cause analysis for errors and proposing solutions, preparing monthly and quarterly reports, and leading a team. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across Transportation, Product, Program, Sales, and other EF teams across the world. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem-solver, feels comfortable managing a huge amount of data to support decision making, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is organized. A day in the life Monitor KPIs and plan actions to improve customer experience; Participate in high level discussions and unfold corporate goals to direct targets; Liaise with stakeholders to drive improvements, anticipate bottlenecks, support escalations, and make decisions balancing business and operations needs with technical constraints; Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly managerial reports detailing key mechanisms results and new initiatives updates; Analyze data to identify patterns, dive deep into details and drive conclusions; Understand operational errors root causes and propose solutions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree; Program or project management experience; English skills; Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions; Experience with SQL. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology and Lean Six Sigma; Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
