We are looking for a skilled Service Technician (Excavator) to join our team and provide top-tier service to our customers in the Netherlands. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on SANY excavators and related heavy machinery. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal machine performance. Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and apply effective solutions. Customer Support & Service: Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, ensuring high-quality service. Educate customers on machine operation, maintenance, and best practices. Maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering professional and timely service. Technical Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work reports and maintenance logs. Use digital tools and diagnostic software to document machine conditions and repairs. Provide feedback to engineering and product teams to improve equipment reliability. Parts & Inventory Management: Assist in ordering and managing spare parts to ensure service efficiency. Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment. Compliance & Safety: Follow all company and industry safety standards while performing service tasks. Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory guidelines related to heavy equipment servicing. Qualifications Education & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in heavy machinery servicing, preferably with excavators or construction equipment. Technical diploma or certification in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and diagnostics. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Experience with diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting machinery. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting purposes. Language Requirements: Fluent in English (spoken and written). Preferred: Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) Other Requirements: Dutch citizenship or EU work authorization required.
