Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description Job Description LHH has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst with one of our large manufacturing clients in Greensboro. The ideal candidate will support the the FP&A function by providing analysis of business results, cost estimation, standard costs, capital, variance analysis, and monthly reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of performance against budgeted, forecasted, and strategic plans. Collaborate with the operations team to understand key operational cost drivers within commodities, labor, overheads, and SG&A expenses, and their impact on monthly operating results and future forecasts. Possess a deep understanding of manufacturing fixed and variable overheads, labor, and other plant cost structures, and their effect on product mix and monthly operating results. Work with Operations to track daily sales/margin and operational efficiencies/KPIs to assess business performance. Analyze operating results to understand their financial impact on operations. Perform month-end reporting and analysis as needed. Manage the loading and extraction of monthly results, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 7-10 years of experience in accounting and finance within a manufacturing environment. Experience in operations, planning and analysis, strategic planning, inventory control, general ledger, audit, and cost accounting. Proficiency with ERP systems. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
