Responsibilities Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment. Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures. Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center. Read and follow order specification documents. Consistently work to develop or enhance skill set. Work effectively with co-workers and establish a team approach to achieve company goals and expectations. Follow all company rules and policies. Successfully work in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform to expectations. Essential Skills Mechanically inclined and able to learn new skills within a standard timeline. Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment. Able to perform mentally and physically at a high pace with a sense of urgency while maintaining company expectations of safety, quality, and productivity. Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure. Possess a strong attention to detail. Ability to work overtime. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Manufacturing background. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to multitask. Teamwork. Ambitious with long-term goals. Our plant manager is committed to rewarding hard work with raises and promotions. Work Environment Our large facility can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You will need to be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. The work involves exposure to various machines including 112" Multiflute Corrugator, 62" Single Face Laminator, Rotary Die Cutters, Flexo Folder Gluers, Platten Diecutters, and Specialty Folder Gluers. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
