East Europe IT Service Manager Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Your responsibilities Recruiting, developing, and managing of high-performing local ITS teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Effectively managing stakeholder relationships across cultures and seniority levels, while translating operational needs into IT solutions and managing expectations in high-touch environments. Translating and presenting complex technical topics in clear, accessible language for diverse audiences. Resolving complex IT issues through root cause analysis and escalation management, while minimizing business disruption. Providing discreet, executive-level support across the East Europe offices, acting as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders. Creating custom solutions when standard approaches fall short. Driving improvements in service delivery and customer satisfaction across Eastern Europe offices. Coordinating and executing daily operational tasks aligned to business needs, while supporting team members and making ongoing decisions on best practices. Managing hardware procurement, leasing, and service agreements, and maintaining relationships with external vendors. Supporting budgeting processes and contributing to strategic planning for IT services. Leading and participating in IT-related projects from planning through to execution. Anticipating risks or challenges and creating contingency plans in collaboration with stakeholders. Our requirements B.Sc. or equivalent preferred—ideally in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an ITS related field, ideally in a regional or multi-office support role. Deep knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows 10/11, MS Office); experience and solid experience with macOS support. Fluency in both spoken and written Polish and English is required. Familiarity with IT performance optimization practices. Strong communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and nontechnical audiences. High customer service orientation and calm, professional demeanor under pressure. Proven ability to build trust, manage relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving in complex, dynamic settings. Flexibility to support occasional after-hours or weekend needs, aligned with regional responsibilities. Ability to manage and optimize IT budgets while ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals. Optional Microsoft OS, MS Office and macOS certifications highly beneficial. In this leadership role, you will manage and develop local IT teams across multiple offices, acting as a trusted advisor and primary escalation point for senior stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with global Product and Engineering teams to ensure smooth and effective IT operations. While leading the IT Service Team in East Europe, you will play an active role in day-to-day operations supporting critical incidents, assisting with complex troubleshooting, and ensuring high-touch service delivery where needed. You’ll coordinate service operations, manage vendor relationships, and align local priorities with global IT strategy. Working closely with both local and regional teams, you will anticipate technical challenges, drive project implementation, and contribute to the continuous development and optimization of IT services. Your ability to translate technical concepts, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and make sound, pragmatic decisions based on business needs will be essential. The role also includes ownership of the office IT budget, service quality monitoring, and supporting broader BCG initiatives on a local, regional, and global scale.
