Maintenance Electrician

Ref: MNSCON40975 Location: Exeter EX1 Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Pay: £24.00ph paid weekly via umbrella Duration: Ongoing Contract - Temp to Perm Key Responsibilities Removing/installing lighting Removing/installing electrical sockets Ensure RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practises All reactive tasks throughout the building are completed, proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractor works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance/fixes, keeping them honest. Ensuring permits and RAMS are adhered to To develop a good working relationship with all members of the team, subcontractors, and client’s staff Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment is met, including the wearing of uniform and appropriate PPE always. To ensure compliance with all client policies and procedures Ensure all storage areas are maintained and kept safe and tidy Undertake lone working where required Undertake other tasks directed by the account management team Person Specification Formal electrical qualification, BS7671 18th edition regulations Able to work at heights Obtain full Security Clearance.
