Litigation Solicitor - RTA Focus | Path to Partnership Location: Belfast Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Flexible Options Available We're delighted to be working with a highly respected and long-established Belfast law firm as they seek to appoint an ambitious Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a solicitor who wants to focus on RTA (Road Traffic Accident) claims, gain extensive advocacy experience, and progress towards partnership in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. About the Role The successful candidate will take ownership of a busy and growing caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation, with a particular emphasis on RTA claims. You will be attending County Court regularly, advocating on behalf of clients and seeing cases through from initial instruction to resolution. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor who wants to build their profile, develop courtroom experience, and take a significant step forward in their career. Key Responsibilities Manage a dedicated caseload of RTA and personal injury cases (plaintiff) Conduct County Court hearings and settlement negotiations Prepare pleadings, briefs, and legal documentation Deliver tailored legal advice to clients with professionalism and empathy Keep up to date with developments in personal injury and litigation law Support the growth and development of the litigation department The Ideal Candidate Qualified Solicitor (admitted in Northern Ireland) Proven experience in RTA and plaintiff personal injury litigation Confident advocate, comfortable appearing in County Court Strong organisational and case management skills Ambitious, proactive, and eager to progress to partnership A team player with a client-focused, commercial approach What's on Offer Competitive salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Clear and structured path to partnership Professional development and advocacy training Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Opportunity to join a reputable firm with a strong litigation pipeline This role is perfect for a driven litigation solicitor who's ready to make their mark in the RTA space and is looking for a long-term home with genuine career progression.
