General Repairs Surveyor Hourly Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella) Location: North London Job Type: Hybrid (Onsite/Home/Office), Temp to Perm Start: Immediate We are actively seeking a General Repairs Surveyor for an immediate start in the North London area. The role is initially on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent after 3 months. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct inspections across various properties to identify repair needs. Prioritise repair work and coordinate schedules to ensure timely completion. Oversee contractors to ensure repair work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with regulations. Ensure all repair activities adhere to health and safety guidelines. Provide professional advice on property repairs and maintenance strategies. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the structural integrity and safety of properties. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repair schedules, and completed works. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience as a General Repairs or Maintenance Surveyor role within Social Housing or Residential Housing Strong understanding of building construction, materials, and regulations. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficient in report writing and record keeping. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
