We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a role within the critical care department at Carolinas Medical Center. Work schedule – Rotating 13-hour shifts (7a-8p or 7p-8a) with rotating weekends and holidays; willing to accommodate if interested in either strictly nocturnist or weekender coverage preferred • Service provides 24/7 coverage with a shift-based model • Inpatient - Adults - 100% • One year of experience as an inpatient PA or Acute Care NP required • Graduation from an accredited ACNP or PA program. Post graduate ICU fellowship preferred. • Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice. Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of PAs are required. • At least one year of experience as an inpatient PA or Acute Care NP Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice. Cardiothoracic Surgery Setting with less than 5 years CVTS experience: Manages STS Database data collection pre and post-operatively. Performs clinic duties one day a week with assigned physician.
