Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg - $1,654 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience in a Medical Surgical Unit - Familiarity with remote telemetry and potential medical surgical diagnoses - Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6 - Proficiency in using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems Description: Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a medical-surgical setting. The patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics. Remote telemetry experience is preferred. The standard nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 on a 38-bed unit, with an average daily census of 33. Required certifications include BLS. Candidates will wear navy blue scrubs. The role requires working every other weekend. No call requirements are part of this position. Candidates must be willing to float within units as needed. If a major holiday falls during the assignment, the candidate is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, candidates must work both. If three holidays fall during the assignment, candidates are required to work at least two. Full compliance and timely submission of documents are required for an on-time start. Orientation includes 13 non-billable hours. The completion of modules is required during orientation, and these hours are also non-billable.
