Job Description Job Description About Primary Care Medical Office. Part Time Warm and Friendly Established Patient Population. Convenient parking located adjacent to building. Job Summary Rooming patients, vitals, medications and rapid testing. Performs ordering, document management and scheduling. Provides general care and education to patients. General Accountabilities Records and reports symptoms. Medication Reconciliation Assists with procedures. Coordinates visits and paperwork for patient/doctor visits. Prepares exam and treatment rooms for patient examinations. Dressing changes and suture removal Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments Reviews patient charts and records essential information including medical past and history, reactions, treatments, etc. Maintains inventory and stock of clinical and medicinal supplies. Educates patient on current health issues. Practices safety and health code standards. Performs jobs assigned by supervisors as directed. Job Qualifications Minimum Education: Vocational, technical nursing training Minimum Experience: 0-6 Months Minimum Field of Expertise: LPN licensure Phlebotomy Experience: a plus but not required Ability to use EMR, Web Browser, MS Office. Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. Teaching/Training – Clearly explains concepts; Varies presentation style to satisfy different learning needs. Has talent for communication with patients.
