Due to continued growth, we are hiring Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery within 45 miles of Dracut, MA. Compensation Starting salary is $80,000 per year. Annual reviews, potential pay increases based on performance. Pallet return bonus, approximately $150 per week, potential. Annual Holiday and Safety bonuses, based on performance. Career Opportunities. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, no weekends. Start times vary, typically between 4am-7am, work until work is completed. One week of paid training, all expenses paid, required in Rome, NY. Average 8-10 stops per day. Deliver hardware supplies using day cab and 53' dry van. Driver loading and unloading using pallet jack, forklift and/or hand cart. Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule and/or customer locations. Responsibilities Drive day cab with 53' dry van trailer to transport to specific route destinations. Provide excellent customer service. Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle. Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers. Requirements Minimum 3 years of CDL A experience. Drive automatic day cab with 53' dry van semi-trailer. Hazmat preferred. Must be willing to obtain upon hire. Experience delivering freight using pallet jack and/or hand cart. Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with air brakes endorsement. Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors Legally eligible to work in the U.S. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance Apply Below or Give us a call at 877-586-0721
