Key Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Utilize MicroMerchant Systems (PrimeRx) for prescription processing and inventory management. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and laws , including HIPAA and state-specific requirements. Manage pharmacy billing processes, including third-party billing and resolving insurance issues. Maintain accurate patient records and handle confidential information with discretion. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns. Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications. Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations. Qualifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or state licensure as required. Minimum 2 years of experience in an independent pharmacy setting. Proficiency in MicroMerchant Systems (PrimeRx) is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmacy compliance regulations and billing procedures. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
