Strong time management and multitasking skills Self-motivated and strong initiative to succeed Job Description: Play a crucial role in managing delinquent automotive accounts in a timely, orderly, and professional manner while following all standardized collection procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Meet performance expectations for collection efforts for assigned accounts based upon individual goals and objectives, e.g. minimum calls per day, contact percentage, promises/calls ratio and promises kept Place or receive calls in priority order as established by management Negotiate payment arrangements with clients to cure delinquency, evaluating ability and willingness to pay Navigate and interpret various screens and relay information to clients accurately and professionally Determine the cause of delinquency and the best course of action to assist the delinquent customer Document all collection efforts for each assigned account in accordance with established procedures Pay: $15/hr Increases to $22 once hired on permanently Schedules: Shifts: Between 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. Days Off: Two days off each week Weekends: Availability needed for up to 2 Saturdays a month and 1 Sunday per quarter Overtime: Mandatory overtime at the end of every month.
