Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Florida

Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician Job Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Duration: Until new hires found; possibly through summer of 2025 Shift: Mixture of days, nights, weekdays, and weekends; 6a-4p, 9a-8p, 11a-11p, 4p-3a, 8p-7a Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Any experience level; EM residency trained License: Licensed MD/DO Certifications: Board-certified/board-eligible, ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: EM residency trained, board certified/board eligible Job Description: - Work in a comprehensive stroke and STEMI center - Collaborate with RNs, techs, APPs, and EM residents - Handle a wide variety of case types and acuity levels in an emergency room setting - Perform typical emergency medicine procedures - Be part of a fully staffed team including 2-3 Advanced Practice Providers and 6-8 EM residents per day - Manage follow-up and in-hospital cases where applicable - Engage in a 3-year EM residency program on site for professional growth - Maintain a 35% admission rate with a diverse patient population - No on-call responsibilities required
