Job Description Job Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client’s team in Troy, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AP processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Process biweekly check runs from invoice receipt through payment and filing Conduct monthly reviews of vendor statements to ensure account accuracy Investigate and respond promptly to all accounts payable inquiries Support monthly closing procedures and assist with audits as needed Monitor and manage all AP documentation including invoices, correspondence, and vendor communications Deliver exceptional customer service to internal departments (faculty, staff, students) and external vendors Continuously seek ways to enhance and improve the payment process Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounts payable experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Solid understanding of accounts payable and general accounting principles High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues and vendors
