TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Columbia, Missouri, 65212 Pay Information $2,236 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Prefer 2 years, but will consider 1.5 years of Medical/Surgical experience for quality candidates. License: MO or Compact licensure must be in hand prior to application. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) preferred. Must-Have: - Ability to float between Medical/Surgical and Medical/Surgical/Telemetry units. - Cerner experience is preferred. Job Description: - Medical Specialties is a 57-bed capacity unit catering to internal medicine patients with diverse medical diagnoses. - Room amenities include video monitoring capability, sitter rooms (up to 4 and 2 patients), ceiling lifts, and bariatric rooms. - The unit has a charge nurse and supervisor on every shift. - Nurses are required to float between various units as necessary. - The average patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, though this can increase to 1:6 and 1:7 respectively. - Willing to accept first-time travelers. - Nurses must work 50% of holidays that fall within the contract. - Re-orientation is not required if returning within 18 months after an assignment break. - The role requires completion of non-billable modules averaging 4-6 hours during orientation and annually, varying by specialty. - Orientation consists of 8 non-billable hours. 27398823EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing A diverse range of assignments on your resume showcases your adaptability, versatility, and resilience.
