Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Information not disclosed Experience: 2 Years required License: Nebraska RN License Certifications: BLS, NIH (ACLS, CPI strongly preferred) Must-Have: 100% Nicotine Free status, willingness to float within scope Job Description: - Work in a 48-bed unit specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery. - Caring for medical surgical patients, including those with strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and tumors. - Units equipped with eight beds for long-term EEG monitoring. - Mixed acuity unit with varying staff-to-patient ratios. - First-time travelers are accepted. - Four weekend shifts required in a four-week schedule period. - Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Orientation includes a mandatory charting class. - Mandatory Steele gray scrubs with branded logo required, information provided upon confirmation. - Participate in facility's mandatory laboratories within 48-72 hours from accepting offer. - Work week is defined as Monday through Sunday. - Two weeks of Requested Time Off (RTO) permitted but must be submitted with application; no RTO during first week of orientation. - Compliance document deadline is the Tuesday prior to start by 4 PM CST. - Contract end dates must fall on a Sunday. Pending licenses are accepted, but if the license is not in hand at the time of submission, the start date will be scheduled six weeks out.
