Driver - Pet Transportation

This is an excellent opportunity for a Driver with at least 2 years of professional driving experience. Must be available to work Saturday & Sunday Benefits · Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance · 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Matching · Discount on B&B Services · Paid Time Off Program Job Responsibilities: As a Driver, you are responsible for transporting dogs to and from our clients’ homes in a safe and timely manner. Key Responsibilities of the Driver role include: · Transporting dogs in a timely and safe manner to and from our facilities · Communicating and reporting all relevant information to the location(s) in a timely manner · Adhere to all local traffic laws · Following and executing all special instructions · Ensuring the vehicle is cleaned and disinfected after each shift · Moving materials, supplies and equipment between locations · Report to locations and help with the following: o Walking dogs o Helping on the play area o Getting dogs to and from transport o Walking dogs home instead of transporting by van Requirements: As a Driver, you must have a genuine interest in the well-being of dogs. You must be able to juggle a variety of responsibilities while balancing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Along with stellar communication and interpersonal relationship building skills, you must possess a high degree of independent decision-making and problem-solving capacity. Other requirements of the Driver role include: · A valid driver’s license · CDL is not required, but an asset ( pay increase for a CDL) · Clean driving record. · Minimum of 2 years professional driving experience in New York City · Comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes with a genuine interest in the well-being of dogs · Must be physically fit to lift dogs 50 lbs, climb stairs and perform requirements of the job · Excellent time management and organizational skills · Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and tolerance of ambiguity · Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
