Work Schedule Flex Shifts 40 hrs/wk Environmental Conditions Office Location: [FERENTINO] Department: Logistics / Supply Chain Reports To: [MANAGER, CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPORT&EXPORT] Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader - Import & Export to lead all aspects of and handle international trade operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient import and export processes, compliance with regulations, and coordination with internal and external partners. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a basic knowledge of global trade regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead the import and export team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Run and optimize international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and efficient solutions. Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, including customs clearance procedures. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, customs brokers, and suppliers. Develop and handle relationships with key partners, both internal and external. Supervise and analyze logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. Resolve any issues related to international shipping, customs delays, or trade compliance. Stay updated on changes in import/export regulations and implement vital adjustments in processes. Prepare and present reports on trade activities, costs, and performance metrics. Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field. Minimum of [3] years of experience in import/export operations, with at least [1] year in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with several priorities at the same time. Strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities. Effective communication and mitigation skills.
