Quality Assurance Technician

Must already have an ACTIVE Italian/EU work permit or EU Passport to be considered. SkyBridge is seeking a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will assist in providing sustainment support services (operational engineering and logistics support) globally for some 25,000 vehicles including the Army's Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, or MRAPs. Responsibilities: Assist more senior quality assurance positions and/or perform functional duties under their oversight. Facilitate development of a quality assurance program and oversee inspections and corrective action plans that meet or exceed maintenance and supply standards. Perform quality assurance for all work performed within assigned mission areas. Inspect work in progress and record observations. Prepare corrective action plans based on data, observations, and reports. Submit recommendations for any required training to improve quality control processes or skills to correct identified deficiencies. Required Qualifications: Up to 3 years’ experience and a BA/BS degree. Experience providing administrative support and coordination to a contract, project, or task. Experience preparing and managing correspondence, reports and documents, implementing and maintaining office systems, schedules and calendars, handling incoming mail and other material, setting up and maintaining file systems, collating information, and maintaining databases. Knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems – familiarity with ISO 9001 a plus. Experience auditing internal policies/procedures and recommending process improvement initiatives. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Desired Qualifications: Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems. Preferably familiar or knowledgeable with MRAP/RCV systems. Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements. Willingness to travel to various OCONUS locations. Some OCONUS deployments may be to hostile ('war zone') environments with additional Per Diem and Hazardous Duty Pay. Security Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a ( DoD) Public Trust clearance. Physical Requirements: Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel. Must be able to work in high noise areas. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
