Flow Wrap Machine Operator

Location: Honeydew-Johannesburg Requirements: Minimum of 1 year experience in operation of machine Hands-on experience in the food or food packaging industry is essential Basic mechanical and troubleshooting ability Familiarity with quality control standards and food safety protocol (FMS advantageous) Technical Aptitude Responsibilities: Operate the flow wrap automatic packing machine to the required standards to ensure the smooth flow of production Set up the machine according to the specific product packaing requirements Perform regular checks and adjustments to ensure optimal machine perfomance Monitor product quality during the production and packaing process to ensure consistency Perform visual inspections and quality checks on packaged products Address any quality issues immediately, reporting them to the production manager Conduct routing preventative maintenance checks on the flow wrap machine to precent downtime Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues and work with production manager to resolve Coordinate with the production manager and support team for any major repairs or technical support Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment Adhere to company policies, procedures and industry regulations Report any hazards or safety concerns immediately Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and maintenance activities Document any issues, solutions, and adjustments made during the shift Work closely with the production tema to ensure timely product output Document all wastage Communicate with the production manager and warehouse team as needed to ensure smooth operations Organise and monitor casual labour where required Work with production manager to ensure all FMS and safety requirements are maintained at all times How to apply:
