A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent SECTOR : FMCG BASIC SALARY : Market Related START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate REQUIREMENTS: Matric / Grade 12 Valid Forklift License Bendi License Certificate Valid drivers license and own transport Minimum of 2 years operating a forklift and conveying fragile products Knowledge of moving and transporting fragile products Warehousing and stacking procedures knowledge Pallet and container loading and stacking of fragile product skills DUTIES: 1. Picking & Loading Check the loading of containers to ensure all required standards and procedures are met which includes operating the forklift with the slip-sheet attachment as and when needed Assist with the accurate completion of loading documentation for containers & trucks Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately, this includes hand pack of loose load containers as and when needed Back up Bendi operator for pickings in the Warehouse 2. Assist with Warehouse Duties Maintains safety standards and ensures safety of products while transporting from one area to another by operating the forklift Report damaged or missing inventory to WHS Manager Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location, Accurate record keeping where required 3. Inspection of Warehouse Equipment Inspects warehouse forklift equipment on a regular basis Reports any concerns/problems to the Warehouse Manager . Ensure battery charged forklifts are regularly and fully charged, including to check the water levels of battery 4. Safety and Housekeeping Complies with company and statutory safety policies and procedures. This includes sweeping and cleaning the Warehouse, The under canopy area, The container loading bay inside and outside, The Warehouse holding area where manufactured SKUs are kept. Ensures housekeeping is kept in order and meets required standards. Assist with general Warehouse and Housekeeping tasks. this includes using the cage & forklift to lift warehouse staff within the cage to clean cobwebs Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles HOURS: 8:00 17:00 (Monday Friday) CLOSING DATE: 31 May 2025
